Ting Ting Fashion is a women’s footwear and fashion brand based in the UK.
Ting Ting Fashion needed a fresh and modern brand developing that would stand out against other online competition. The website needed to have e-commerce functionality and also be user friendly as well as engaging the customer.
CODA were tasked with developing a new women’s fashion and footwear brand, and we started the process with some extensive market research. The clients proposition was unusual in that they were Chinese products of very high quality. We wanted to create a brand that had resonance with a highly fashion concious western market, so research was vital to establish the correct balance for the brand.
The Ting Ting brand was developed to mirror the sophisticated tastes of the UK and European markets. CODA went on to design a simple and clean logo and we chose a bright colour palette alongside the use of graphical geo shapes and patterns to create textures and colour blocks to support the brand. The logo was designed black on white to help keep it looking modern and high end, which along with a very tight and structured website layout, gave a high quality yet established look.
The products themselves were shot against a plain white background to retain a clean look which also looked great when shown in grids of images. We commissioned a photographer to shoot the lifestyle lookbook shots with models showing the products in an edgy urban setting to give the brand flavour and character. The strong, bright colours used in conjunction with the stylish photography help to give the overall brand a high end look that communicates the ethics and style of the products really well.
